Bio:

Drew Moldenhauer is an internationally recognized keynote speaker, author, professor, and public safety professional who helps organizations improve teamwork, communication, leadership, and decision-making under pressure.

As the Owner and Master Instructor of Blue Ethos Specialized Training, Drew has trained thousands of professionals across North America in active threat preparedness, de-escalation, situational awareness, crisis response, and high-stakes decision-making. His clients include Fortune 500 companies, manufacturers, healthcare organizations, energy providers, government agencies, and public safety professionals.

Drawing on nearly two decades of law enforcement experience, Drew brings a unique perspective on how individuals and teams perform in high-pressure environments where communication, trust, and emotional control can mean the difference between success and failure. Throughout his career, he has served as an active shooter instructor, crisis intervention team instructor, field training officer, peer support member, and public safety leader.

In addition to his work as a trainer and speaker, Drew serves as a full-time Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice at Metropolitan State University, where he helps prepare the next generation of leaders in public safety and criminal justice.

Drew is the co-author of the book How Smart Police Officers Use Situational Awareness to Improve Safety, written with Dr. Richard Gasaway, a nationally recognized expert in situational awareness and decision-making.
