She then became a Russian-to-English translator and was elected president of the American Translators Association. Feeling frustrated by the complexity of Robert’s Rules of Order, Ann took up the study of parliamentary procedure and created Jurassic Parliament in 2000. She provides fun, interactive training—using dinosaurs as props—that makes Robert’s Rules easy to learn and apply.

Ann trains hundreds of elected officials, clerks, and nonprofit leaders nationwide.
