Bio:

For more than 25 years, Nick Schuster has partnered with community financial institutions as they navigate growth, technology, and organizational change. As National Sales Director for BEVYplus, he works alongside executive leadership teams across the country to modernize operations through automation, payments, self-service technologies, and practical innovation while balancing security, compliance, and the trusted relationships that define community banking.

Nick believes organizations rarely struggle because they lack ideas or technology. More often, progress stalls because people lack a clear purpose, a trusted process, and practical frameworks for moving forward.

Known for his practical, conversational style, Nick helps leaders reduce uncertainty, think more clearly, and execute with intention. Rather than focusing on technology alone, he helps organizations create environments where innovation feels practical, manageable, and measurable. His presentations blend real-world experience with commonsense leadership, engaging stories, and actionable frameworks that audiences can immediately apply within their own organizations.

Whether speaking about Generative AI, leadership, or organizational change, Nick’s philosophy remains consistent:

When purpose is clear, the process is trusted, and progress is measurable, people naturally gain the confidence to embrace change.

Nick is a graduate of Appalachian State University, where he earned degrees in Computer Information Systems and Marketing, and a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at LSU. He has served on multiple Georgia Bankers Association Bank Operations, Technology & Leadership Committees, collaborating with industry leaders to advance innovation, operational excellence, leadership development, and the future of community banking.

Whether speaking to executive leadership, operations teams, or emerging leaders, Nick’s goal is simple:

Provide a clear purpose, a trusted process, and practical frameworks that help people move forward with confidence.

Away from work, Nick enjoys exploring new places with his wife Amanda and their family, directing one of America’s oldest ultramarathons, and volunteering on environmental stewardship projects throughout Georgia.

The Confidence Gap: Why Change Stalls… and How to Move Forward Without Breaking Things

Technology isn’t the greatest challenge facing organizations today.

Change is.

More specifically, it’s helping people feel prepared to embrace it.

Most change initiatives don’t fail because the strategy is wrong or the technology isn’t available. They stall when uncertainty outweighs confidence and people aren’t sure where to begin.
In this keynote, Nick explores the space between recognizing the need for change and taking meaningful action.

Using his Prime, Prompt, Perform framework, he shares practical strategies that help leaders create clarity, reduce unnecessary risk, and build momentum through small, measurable wins. Rather than asking people to simply embrace change, Nick demonstrates how thoughtful leadership, trusted processes, and practical execution naturally create the confidence organizations need to move forward.

Audience Takeaways

• Understand why change often stalls before it begins.
• Replace uncertainty with practical frameworks for action.
• Encourage innovation without creating unnecessary risk.
• Build momentum through measurable progress.
