Gretchen Gordon was an accidental salesperson who initially hated her role.  Through grit and determination, she overcame her misgivings and was eventually promoted to manager where she promptly failed. In her talks, she shares her failures as well as the mindset and the skillset that helped her overcome those setbacks to propel her to an award-winning sales and sales leadership career.  Her self-deprecating manner is a breath of fresh air in the sales world and is appreciated by business and sales leaders, because she has walked in their shoes and faced their struggles and is transparent in her delivery.  In her talks she shares the secrets she uncovered to help the audience immediately make changes that will help them, and their organizations, grow.

Now, after nearly 40 years in and around sales, having studied the science associated with success, and after helping hundreds of sales and business leaders grow out of their frustration and stress, Gretchen’s determined to create an army of happy sales leaders and teams. She wrote the best-selling book, The Happy Sales Manager to make it easier for the many people who find themselves leading a sales team but feel overwhelmed and under qualified as she once did.

In addition to being a speaker, author, and self-proclaimed sales nerd, Gretchen leads a team of sales experts at her company, Braveheart Sales, with a mission to cultivate sales organizations so sellers can sell, and leaders can lead. A sought-after keynote speaker, she focuses on the skillset and mindset of sales and sales leadership. When she's not changing the sales world, Gretchen is an avid competitive golfer and loves the parallels between sales and sport performance.
